My Thoughts.
I am completely flabbergasted. I mean, I can't think straight after reading this book! It was simply amazing. But, there's nothing simple about it. Garda was a completely mind baffling book, it's for the books! Stacy blew me out of the water, it was all completely unexpected! And I loved it. It couldn't have turned out any better!

Corey is a police officer that everyone loves. When she meets Mitchell she can't get him out of her mind, and hes the same. But, when Corey sees the band on Mitch's left hand she knows she can't go through with cheating, she can't be like her ex. When a fateful accident happens Corey is taken from the world and life as she knows it, and is now in the realm. A place between heaven and earth. She now has some major destiny changing, or not, decisions to make. Being a Garda is the perfect life for Corey. A Garda watches over the people in the real world, and helps guide them in making the right decisions. Now that she's in the realm it's going to take a lot to make the right choices, plus there's another man thrown into the picture.

This book will keep your mind running, like I said, you won't know what to expect. It's a very heartwarming, heart wrenching, yet sweet and loving read. My emotions went through the wringer on this one. And let me just say, it's amazing getting to experience multiple emotions while reading a book. You literally don't know what a book is until you read one like this. Every time I read one of Stacy's books, I fall in love. They are such an experience and each one is better than the last. But, they are ALL so good! And hours after reading her books, I still have the feels..

My Thoughts.

This. Book. OMG! This book is adrenaline racing, pulse Thumping, Heart Shattering, can't sleep until its done Good. No, make that great. Fan-freakin-tastic. I've never read a book that's gotten my heart, body, and soul working like this one did. Adriana Locke is a freaking rock star at putting words on a page. A genius! An amazing author. She KNOWS how to tell a story. A story that'll blow you out of the water. It just doesn't stop getting good. Every. Single. Word. Has you glued. It just keeps getting better and better!! It's gut wrenching, but honestly that's what makes this book what it is. The reality brought into this book, the fact that it's not all laffy taffy and rainbows, it makes you feel. And it was totally needed. A retired fighter and his first love. A little girl you will fall in love with. And a woman with a change to life as she knows it. Her husband's dead, her brother in law is to blame, her heart is broken, and her life will never be what it was. Julia is a very strong woman who has to survive a rocky life, and we get to join her on that rocky journey. I can't find a way to rehash on this story without giving anything away, so I wont. But just know that This book was perfectly written. The characters are amazing. And the author is a genius! ♡ 

                              

This was my first book by Adriana Locke and certainly won't be my last. I'm very intrigued to read The Exception Series!

My Thoughts.

Riley Edgewood, you are a freakin rock star! This book just rocked my world! Like the previous two, I've loved every minute of it. You get me! No, really! & I totally get you too! Riley is a pro at this writing thing, she has it down to a T. She captures your heart, your mind, and your soul right from the get go. In all honesty this book hit me HARD, on a personal level. Every definitive word was like a breathe of fresh air. The way she was wrapped up in Teagan's mind was well.. Mind boggling. How you can describe feelings like that is beyond me! I have to tell you T&T hit me on a personal level. It was like hitting the nail on the head. You hit me riley. You hit me hard. I've cried before in books but this one, it hit a whole different level. Not in a bad way, you just, it was perfect. The way you pulled out the emotions. The feelings. It was amazing. ' Teagan is your stuck on a nutshell bomb. She has never learned to deal with herself, so she hides it. And she hides it good. That is Until a smooth talking GQ stud comes waltzing into her life. Ever since she met him in that bar, that one night, she's had an awakening. Everything's changed. Nothing is going to be the same. And you know what? It's about dang time. It's a breath of fresh air. It's what she's always needed. He's what she's always needed. Will she admit that? Heck no! This book is like no other. Maybe it's because it hit me on a personal level. But I give all the props to the wonderful Riley Edgewood. She won't let you down with this intense story of a life wrapped up inside a shell that should have never been there. But I'm telling you this is a freaking fantastic book. The characters. The plot. The love. The hate. The anger. The sadness. Freaking. Fantastic. Love it or hate it, but I guarantee you'll love it. How could you not. Especially with the opening line. That was freaking GREAT!! So, go one-click. I dare ya!
